Community Unity

The old stone cottage has withstood the test of time. It’s also become the life insurance of Switzerland’s winter months. Communities of  families will use such a place for bulk food storage.  It’s perfect for such use because of its size and the stone structure. Here in Switzerland, the winter temperature could drop as low as zero degrees Celsius. In the past, before this system was in place, a wife may use the last of her rice, and the stores would be closed. #FF: Re-humanizing Cafe

Photo Prompt ©️Dale Rogerson This patio welcomed every passerby. The funny part is, NYC natives tell the same story: after a brief stay, every resident reroutes ship to sail this street as often as possible. Depend on You

“Wow, that’s high!”, thought the snail, “How will I ever eat now?” “You can ride on my shell!” the turtle exclaimed. ” To slow!” thought the snail. “You can sit on my wings!” the Robin added. “To fast!” thought the snail. The only reasonable answer the snail 🐌 could find is to inch her way up all on her own. She’s never too slow, where the meal becomes ruined; or she has to make it first. She’s never too fast, where the meal has yet to arrive, when she’s hungry. She proudly learned to depend on herself.   Continue reading Depend on You
