Monday Greetings

I hope you all had a good weekend. I actually had a pretty good one, all things considered.

Saturday night I went to bed at 9:15, got up about three for snack, and went back to sleep until 8:15. I can’t remember the last time I slept all like that.

Today, I got a few things accomplished and really tackled my kitchen. Decluttering ALWAYS feels good. My dishes are about done, yeah it feels nice.

Other than that, it’s been a chill weekend. To hot and tired to do much else.

Good Morning y’all.

Morning Short Story ☕️

” I think this hospital is trying to kill me!” Zelda whispered to Rhemy.

” What nonsense. They’re trying to keep you alive. What makes you say that?” Rhemy responded with confusion in her tone.

Zelda pointed to the coffee cup sitting on the tray, ” That coffee tastes like mud in a cup!”

” Zelda!! Don’t be drama…” Rhemy began as she raised the cup to her mouth for a sip.

” Oh my mother goose of Neverland, this is horrendous!!! ” she added, after projecting the mouthful across the room.

How is everyone this morning? Afternoon and Evening, depending on where you are? Did you enjoy my little short story introduction? Hahaha Coffee is just essential. It never ever should be anything but a top notch expierence.

Here’s a funny story, this morning, I was eagerly anticipating a great deal find on a blender, while searching Facebook marketplace 😂😂😂 A BLENDER!! When did I get old where kitchen appliances replaced actual fun stuff? Haha. This blender would make one badass iced coffee though, and everything about that is perfect!

So there’s that.

Who’s having coffee?

NAMASTÉ 🙏🏼

Good Morning Beautiful People 😀

It’s little past six, May 2nd. The birds are up and chirping away. They seem to be most vocal before the dawn. Is that normal? Is it just me that thinks that? I don’t know.. There’s several different pitches and songs. I imagine the birds are preparing for babies. The last few years, the neighbors shutters held a nest of babies.

I’ve been up since five. I’m too excited to sleep. I have my love visiting this morning. I am beyond myself excited to see him. The last few days have been wonderful. I have learned he does remember bits and pieces, so he does remember me. Before him, things like concussions and PTSD were topics I heard. It wasn’t until now, that I’ve gained knowledge and some understanding of them.

Why do I say this? As humans, adaptation is apart of living… The more we know, the better we can work with new and unfamiliar. At no point in our lives do we know everything; and, we always have time to learn something new. On the daily, we’re reading blogs and Facebook, Twitter, watching GOT and the news. Our information intake doesn’t stop. What if we learned about useful topics, topics that already matter… What if we taught ourselves a second language. What if we chose to study the basics of the brain, or agriculture? I’m always hungry for new insight. I hope to have encouraged you to explore new information.

It’s now seven, and I’ve been trying to wake up and get this blog posted forever now. My girls are up, one sick (again!! Guh!), and the other one a bit still tired I think. They both look cute anyway. Zivah’s school year is almost over. That’s exciting.

OK, that’s the morning rundown. How you all enjoy your Thursday!

*Waving* Hello WP Family 😀

How is everyone doing this morning? Did you have a smooth start to your day? Coffee? Watched the sun rise with your furbabies and nature friends? Those of you who religiously read the paper, any news worth sharing? Please share with me, what’s your typical morning routine.

When I got up, I checked my phone for boyfriend update. There hasn’t been anything yet. Then I checked my email, and I received an email from someone who emoji flipped finger at me… Like five times, guys! That’s some offensive crap eh? I mean email and emoji… And she’s 11 years older than myself. The reality is some individuals won’t ever change because denial has stunt their growth. She’s my past. There’s a reason why she’s there. She’s taught me about truth; though, but that’s a topic for another post.

image-2

Next, I went to my Keurig and formulated a delicious cup of coffee, while my little one heard me and greeted me with her PJMask toys 🙂 Right now, they’re both relaxing on my bed, watching Sofia the First. Breakfast is Captive Crunch, peanut butter crunch. I’m sitting here, thinking about the day. The weather is suppose to be really nice. Sunshine is always welcomed. It boosts my mood every time.

Oh this is a good idea to include in this post.

Let’s see the three things I’m grateful for are:

1. My friend Tracy. She’s been in contact with me consistently for the last few days.

2. The Morning Glory seeds I bought are sprouting really well. I can’t wait to see their color.

3. My daughter’s In-home preschool teacher agreed to pick up a few items from the store for me since I’m without a vehicle. It’s really those little gestures of kindness that make the difference!

Bonus: There’s little quarrel between my girls this morning! That always feels wonderful. I question if I fight every battle that arise or if I’m not consistent enough with parenting them. Does a mother’s mind ever stop 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️💛?!

Ok, I’m going to do some blog commenting and daily challenges. I sure hope you’re doing well and feel a sense of peace and joy this morning.

Until Next Time ~

Good Morning 🦋🌞 How’s everyone doin? How strong is your coffee this morning? I have a fresh cup sitting next to me 🙂

My night consisted of three hours of a harsh dry cough. It was great fun. My chest is tight, so I diagnosed myself with an upper respiratory infection. Once I got that under control, my back started bothering me.

This morning, however, I was thankful that I walked to the coffee pot, and it was prep for brewing. That little detail is what makes life wonderful. Those moments of pure relief, of utter bliss, or complete contentment. When something makes life alittle easier, when something feels incredible, we should embrace the whole experience.

Anyway, have a fantastic weekend!

03/15/19

Good Morning Everyone.

I wanted to take a few minutes and ask you to keep the families of New Zealand’s attack in your prayers. I can’t understand how any human feels hate will resolve any matter.

It never has before, and it never will. When we learn to live in harmony with one another, accepting the diversity that makes our race so unique, we will flourish.

The other request I have is that we send love, light, positive vibes, prayer, whatever form you wish, to for another.

Not only, are many bloggers expierencing this burned out fatigue with writing; but also, there are a few who’ve thought about stepping away all together.

I want to encourage every one of you to step away from your responsibilities today, and go somewhere that refreshes your soul. That place could be a park, woods, relatives home, animal shelter, zoo, lots of places.

Seasons change, and as Spring rapidly approaches us, backed with glorious Blooms, miracles of new life, vibrant color, moments of wonderfulness.. It may carry that change you need. Nothing lasts forever.

Finally, I wanted to ask you all to keep one another in your thoughts because WordPress is a community. We are the most vulnerable with our words. Writing is, at least, a hobby for all of us. Aside from writing, life is happening. Health issues, work issues, relationship issues. EVERYONE is dealing with SOMETHING! Let’s support one another.

My heart needed to address these topics this morning. I hope your coffee is delicious and Friday is blessed.

Morning Vibes

Good Morning,

Hope everyone had a great weekend! It’s Monday, new week full of new opportunities! I hope you feel inspired to reach out and grab them, especially when you know it’s meant for you. I hope your coffee or tea is perfect, and you feel happiness in your heart. If anything, right now, try and just be in this moment. Feel the temperature around you. Look around and search for something that makes you feel happy. Listen to music that’s your favorite, or simply take in huge deep breaths and exhale. Allow yourself to be ok, right here.. Right now. You deserve it!

With much love :

As I sit here sipping my coffee, I feel happy. I feel happy for many reasons.

Shortly after I got up, I wanted to feed my soul with something good & wholesome. Other than coffee, I don’t usually put anything in my body until lunch. Youtube had my rain playing, and I, then, found a story about adoption. This is such a delicate subject for me, because I am adopted. All over the world, children are given up to a system that “hopefully” places them into a suitable home. That’s not always the case.

What I love most about these stories is the gift of reunion. The precious and intimate moment when loved ones finally see each other for the first time in priceless. I get the waterworks because it’s life changing. Individuals wish and pray for this moment, remaining hopeful that it will happen.

I’m happy these positive stories are available to view. I’m happy that these reunions have been well recieved, and that the fokes welcomed each other into their lives. I’m happy that these individuals haven’t grown bitter and hateful.

The reasons why others act as they do isn’t always apparent. Though it may not make sense to anyone or everyone, most people do what they thought was best.

February #coffeeshare

Coffee time! Who else is enjoying the liquid elixir of sanity and dilution of adult responsibility?! I’m heading to round two, as I slept hard but not enough. My mattress is severely in need of a replacement. My girls loved to jump on it. One day, I heard a crack or something that I shouldn’t have. Fun fun fun!

How’s everyone doing today? It’s the second month of the year! How’s your resolutions coming? Every day is a fresh start, it’s never too late to try again.

Adventures of a Single Mom 4

Mr Elf  and Mickey Mouse with my purchases today 🙂

I  chose Mint Chocolate, Frosted Crandberry, Campfire Coffee, and Pinapple Mango. There were people up super early. The associates were up at five! I couldn’t believe how many individuals were buying, but there was a 15 max limit. Did any of you grab any? This Frosted Crandberry is a seasonal favorite! I remember the first year I bought it. LOL! The Chocolate Mint was the next I grabbed. Last year, B&BW didn’t even have it! Can you believe that hogwash? Anyway, it’s in my home this Christmas. The Campfire Coffee smells just like a Paris Cafè!! Ooooommmmmggg. It’s amazing fokes, not half as much as you are, but still SO MUCH AWESOMENESS! The Pineapple Mango is a recent love of mine. It’s Summerish but still to  irresistible to pass up. I never liked pineapple growing up…. Isn’t it funny how time changes things?

Anyway, these are MY Christmas gifts to myself. I don’t feel selfish. I don’t feel guilty or greedy. Self Care means being good to me, all the time. A sale is the perfect temptation to buy candles, that overexcite my senses. Be sure you take some time for self care.

Namastè

Good Morning Y’all. My brain is going a mile a minute, despite my lack of coffee intake. That’s very unusual, but, that’s the perfect adjective to describe my life right now.

It’s Thursday, a cold 25 degrees. I already miss summer. We’re up, getting my older daughter ready for school. She’s not entirely recovered from her head cold, but she’s feeling better. Calandra is doin ok. She’s mommy’s little sweet pea cuddle bug.

I’m alright, I suppose. One day at a time, working through the intensity of my emotions. Are there any other HSP’s or INFJs in the nearby blogosphere? If you know of someone, please introduce him/her to me. Anyway, back to these emotions. What I don’t understand makes me frustrated… When I get frustrated, I cry. Sometimes, I don’t believe it’s because of what initially happened, but some other aspect of the situation. For example, I’m not sad that my ex and I are not together, but how it happened has me really shook up.

Since I don’t go out much, I socialize on apps. This one has been my favorite by far. I can’t imagine my life without writing. Of course I don’t feel I’m a big deal, or that I even write exceptionally well. I do feel writing is an outlet for me to convey my thoughts. It’s a platform (that’s the word I was trying to find the other day! Facepalm) to release and create. The possibilities are endless, and my thoughts are on paper. I can create a short story about a love I wish happened to me.. or an ending I feel better suited for my ex. It’s my writing, and I may write as I please. There’s so much freedom in that.

Ok, well you all have a fantastic Thursday. The weekend is almost here. Keep warm if you’re in that part of the globe. Keep an eye out for future posts.

“It is inhumane, in my opinion, to force people who have a genuine medical need for coffee to wait in line behind people who apparently view it as some kind of recreational activity. I bet this kind of thing does not happen to heroin addicts. I bet that when serious heroin addicts go to purchase their heroin, they do not tolerate waiting in line while some dilettante in front of them orders a hazelnut smack-a-cino with cinnamon sprinkles.” ~ Dave Barry

Preference or Absence

Absence makes the heart grow fonder …. or does it? Is it the absence of another individual that strengthens love, with time? Or is it the choice to love from both individuals that sustains through distance and time?

When others die, they don’t return. Does this make our hearts less fond of him/her? Or is it the choice to hold on to the love and let go of the pain?

Absence may indeed make the heart grow fonder, but I believe it’s a deliberate choice to love that sustains the relationship. When someone truly understands what love is…. And what it feels like, … I don’t think someone would allow anything to interfer.

… Or maybe I’m just a woman, insanely in love…

~Hello & Welcome~

Hello Friends\ (••) /,

Thank you for accepting my invitation to join me for coffee and donuts. God knows I need this time, with other like-minded kindered hearts.

This is my first weekend doing a coffee share, so I want to introduce myself. I am Brandy; but, my writing alas is MoonChild Nova or Nova. I want to use that with my writing friends; but, either is fine. I am an Empath, and an INFJ personality type… So I function more on the emotions spectrum than the logic. I love nature, coffee, writing, the arts, basketball, photography, and lots of other things. I’m a mother of a two and a half-year old, and a five and a half year old.

My first story I want to share with you actually took place today. My younger daughter, Calandra, visits her dad on the weekend, so my older daughter and I have quality time together. Today, I decided we were going to the park and collect acorns to bring home for the squirrels here. Here are a few photos of the jewels she and I found(。♥‿♥。)

Just as I finished up picking acorns from a second tree, I heard an animal cry. It was a little squarel. I hadn’t ever heard such a sound before. I turned around and started toward the car and noticed this:

MASSIVE BIRD!! \(◎o◎)/ I was shocked!!

Anyway, I’m excited to hear from you lovelies and getting to know you:)

As a young lad, James attended this Annual Winter Formal with his Father and Grandfather. As a seventh generation tradesman, James fell right into succession as a Master of Architecture with Grandfather Clocks.

Finally reaching the complimentary coffee bar, the butler  served himself a freshly brewed cup of Highlander Grogg. “I wonder if she would enjoy such a great blend of bean?”, he wondered. He hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her, the beauty at the coffee shop.

This patio welcomed every passerby. The funny part is, NYC natives tell the same story: after a brief stay, every resident reroutes ship to sail this street as often as possible. Ezra did just that. Angelina’s Sip & Sweets was the best, hands down.

The light’s collapsed upon an atmosphere of adventure, wonder and, yet, peace. Graduating from year to year, the coffee shop gained the best preposterous stories; satisfying the craze of so many ill-fuctioning businessmen.

Ezra sheepishly chuckled. In her 29 years, she’s, occasionally,  relied on her hot mocha latte to survived work with a horrendous hangover. Whoops!

A Tale as Old As Time

Something that has fascinated me for years is the ” life ” behind old objects and places. I think my intuitive nature and empath abilities take me on spiritual journeys, but I often can’t find the specific details. If I walk through a cemetery, I imagine how an individual looked, what was his/her profession, how significant their presence was in their society.

In the black and white faded photos, the old abandon buildings tease my imagination with prestigious women in long stunning ball gowns, and common wives covered in banking flour, sworming the kitchen, trying to finish up the bread banking for the week. I imagine the bedrooms that have nursed the untreatable phenomena, and the streets that have lead soldiers home.

Old means history, and I appreciate the priceless stories. This morning, while searching Pinterest, I came across a coffee mug I loved. It’s simple but solid.

As most of us know, one pin is attached to a board. The board is listed on a Pinterest page. This super cool cup is on a page called: Retro Planet The coolest collection of antique items are here. So, for any other history buff, or a coffeeholic looking for a great to mug to add to the collection, here’s an awesome page to check out. Enjoy your trip; return safely 😉

    Art & Coffee ☕️

This combination is magnificent! Both are platforms for strangers to become friends, artists to learn from one another, and life to feel more enriched! Whether it’s an art gallery in New York City, a small town Café, a display of Iron pieces on a Saturday afternoon , or a Sunday morning coffee date, these two elements add a sweetness to the cup of life:D
