Repeat After Me Story 3

In all that we can’t control, how long we suffer (note: be sure to distinguish pain from suffering) isn’t one of them.

So how long IS OK to feel our feels?

The grieving process has many steps, all of which are different for every person. I can’t tell you how long you’ll want or need to be in any of them.

Annoyingly, you’ll likely tiptoe back into a previous phase, and try moving forward again.

However long you need to work through pain, in a healthy and evolution sense, this I know holds true: You are stronger than your pain!

As a pre-teen, I wish someone encouraged me with these words!

In the moments you don’t feel strong, we’re here to lift you up!
