Today, I’m giving thanks for the simple things that bring joy!
When we grow up, we get lost in the responsibilities that comes with it. Our time and attention is captured by deadlines, bills, and obligations. Sounds like hella good time, right?
It’s when we take a minute to celebrate the simple things, we briefly surface our childlike selves.
Yesterday, I found a packet of glow sticks. I had bought them in October, and hadn’t opened them. They all came out of the box. All were cracked! I was just as excited as the kids!
I loved that a simple object, that happened to glow, made the end of our day, “bright”.
This is such a HUGE reminder that life is how we choose to see it!
If we don’t consciously embrace every moment, what purpose do we have to exist?
Today, I challenge you to go buy a $1 pack of bubbles or glow sticks. Just take a few minutes, and be in the moment, peaceful and quiet. Let me know how it goes:)
With Love & Light
