Below the Surface: Dating

I’m speaking from personal experience.

The Dating Game Sucks!

One of the BIGGEST… If not the #1 contributor to this consensus, is the insistence to speak to me about my appearance…

Inappropriately,

Within minutes, sometimes days (if I’m lucky!) after we’ve virtually “met” .

In addition, these sites are littered with half naked men, who must feel their body’s the only to way to catch a winner🤦🏼‍♀️.

That said, here’s the alternatives… compliments that we all can use (and I pitch this because we should be using) that has nothing to do with looks:

Logic would tell anyone “Hey, if you don’t know someone, you’re not going to magically make this fairytale dream out of thin air.”

Relationships take work. They require honesty. If a man wants sex, there’s PLENTY of women who will just in bed. They can’t expect a trophy, when they’re talking like they do.

These suggestions would sure put a smile on any face ❤️

Give it a try:D

Namastè 🙏🏼

  1. I do not understand why so many men want to send photos of their didgeridoos …what is that about? It’s just weird. And what do they want back? Photos of you. I’m like “yeah right….like if a glossy wrag were to offer me tens of thousands of dollars – maybe…but you are expecting me to send you free photos in exchange for the eye infection you just sent me???

You are so right about how getting to know someone means digging the inner beauty of a person.

  2. I really wish I could insert a gif image of me shedding a tear and clapping so hard for this post. But the emojis will have to do. 😭👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 This is so true! It’s like some people can’t see past the skin. Love the compliments you provided! If only more people said these things and cared about them.

  3. I’m sure you already know this, but if you cannot connect on a deeper level than small talk and physical attraction, you just have yourself a bump buddy.
