Good Morning, Happy Saturday Everyone.
I came across this gem and had to share. So many of us excuse poor behavior (especially from a loved one or close friend). We don’t have too, though.
So what do we do?
How do we change that?
We can’t control “ them”…
You’re absolutely right! The ONLY person you can control is you.
You must first TELL YOURSELF that disrespect isn’t ok. Repeatedly, tell yourself that all forms ( and there’s many decorated by charisma and such) are not ok. You will begin to believe that.
Set that boundary that tells them it’s no longer ok. This is apart of loving yourself. In actuality, it’s loving them too.
You deserve the best life. Believe that 🙂
