Sharper than a Sword

I’ve never had body image issues.

Today, for the first time, someone shouted “she’s fat” across the playground as we were leaving.

The altercation left some stranger judging me when in actuality, if the two women minded their own business, there wouldn’t have been any problem.

I then walked out of the play area as a group of ten year old thugs (yes… young thugs) called me “Karen”…

Because I’m white? As if they understood ANY of what these riots where about? As if they understood the use of the term “Karen” towards someone.

The thickness of disrespect and hate in that area could have cut anyone’s circulation…

I’m feeling all sorts of things about this crap of today!!

  1. I’m overweight and it’s taken me almost 20 years to get in that category.
I despair at the youth of today. They have no respect, no manners, and are ignorant of everyone except their miserable greedy selves.. Yet these ‘people’ are our future and that scares the hell out of me.

  2. You have HEART… Something they apparently don’t have. Let them brew in their own hate. You’ve got wings to fly higher. 😉 Sorry this happened to you, Nova. No one deserves that.
