Your voice matters! Your story matters!
Your truth is your story; and, only you can tell it. No one else can adequately or accurately translate the raw and emotional taste of what you’ve lived.
When you’re ready, others’ are waiting to hear you. They are… and they will listen. You don’t have to hurry with this process. There’s no pressure, no expectations or judgements. Your journey evolves at a different pace, and that’s perfectly ok!
Please remember, though, that although we’ve all walked a different path, like the blood that runs through our veins, pain unifies us in that we’ve all experienced it. No matter who created it, how long we’ve carried it, and how long ago it happened.
I know sharing stories exposes our vulnerability. I know it forces us to face trauma… and be uncomfortable… But, I know the weight of secrets. I know the bondage of shame, anger, and guilt.
Your voice can be heard. You are strong enough to tell your story. I believe in you… I know others do too. It’s yours, for when you’re ready to tell it.
With much love,
“It is not the the bruises on the body that hurt. It is the wounds of the heart and the scars on the mind.”
