The thing about our lives, is we get to decide what we share. It’s a gift. When we become an adult and mature, we recognize this gift.
Right now, the secrets I hold bring me strength and peace. I selfishly keep these to myself. I dream in them. I sit in them. I visit them when I’m overwhelmed.
They bandage my hurt. They take away fear, and dry my tears. My secrets are mine… And I don’t have to share them with the world.
Held in a pretty red box, tired with my veins of life. I don’t remember the last time I’ve held on to tight, but absolutely KNOW I have nothing to fear.
Here’s to the moments we heal.

Beautiful thoughts.
