She sat at the table for over an hour, just looking out of the window watching people walk by. It has been a month since she felt like being out of her room, even longer since she stayed out this long. When her depression hits, all she can do it ride the storm. Her mother has stopped a few different times. Her sister Diocese, tried to motivate her to a day out shopping. Nothing has been strong enough to change the monotonous gray days, tasteless meal picking, and frustrating painful cries.
Today, the sun peaked through the clouds, literally and metaphorically. She got up and grabbed a shower. After that, she walked in the kitchen to make herself a hot cup of tea. As the blueberry tea formulated, she watched life happening out the window.
