Your Mission Statement

Moreso in the last decade, organizations, such a schools, have begun a new tradition: identifying their ” mission statement”. Why? It provides

  1. A goal to accomplish.
  2. Unity among everyone within the organization.
  3. A sense of direction, coupled with encouragement.
  4. Reason for valuable skills, such as endurance, hard work, and confidence.
  5. Path to find should one fall astray.

This statement is strong, something that brings each within together, with all the rest. Students learn teamwork.

What about here on WordPress? Or for your life, on a personal level? What’s your Mission Statement?

I never thought about it before, honestly. Writing one seems like a great idea though, for many reasons.

In the next couple of days, consider these words and your passions. What would you say is your Mission Statement?

What Are Your Emotions Really Telling You? | Brighter Path Counseling

This is profound:

One important note to remember is that your emotions are not facts.  Your emotions are entirely valid- meaning that they are never right or wrong.  But, they are not always based on realistic or rational thoughts

My Time Here

I feel a tide turning… and I feel I no longer belong here.

I’m not sure if it’s just historically how start-stop, start again-stop again, my life has been…

Or that I’ve realized writing was my “coping mechanism”… in my darkest of days… and by God’s Grace, I no longer live in such darkness…

My healing process has brought me THROUGH so much; I no longer need to focus on a mental distraction.

Maybe, I just need a short period to re-evaluate my “purpose” here… my “why”.

Thank you all who’ve stuck with me this far! You’ve been so incredibly supportive!

Exhaustion

The laundry’s folded and remains in baskets and bags. The groceries are bought and sit in “out of the way “ places in my kitchen.

The floors need mopped, tops need wiped, and the trash needs taken out, again.

The declutter so quickly changes right back to “messy” ; before I have a moment to enjoy it.

Baths and book bag packed, dinner and soon all that snotty nose shit.

Being mom ain’t easy…

Being a single mom, well we deserve a medal!

Only the strongest can handle it.
