Monday In Reflection

I sat on the playground bench and watched my girls play. Shortly after arriving, a young little dude and a little girl arrived, with an older man.

Within a half hour, we were chatting about life and kids, safety, and stupidity. It felt wonderful to be in the moment, in the conversation, and feeling genuine laughter.

After you’ve been deprived of something for so long, it’s almost euphoric! My focus was on nothing but my daughters, right there at the playground. It was really nice.

Let yourself be in your moments. Try and trust your process in life, that things happen as they’re meant to and you CAN still feel peace and joy.
