Questions, mounds like a bottomless pit,
Rapid breathing, can’t slow it down, can’t inhale enough.
Mind spinning, twenty tabs open, and the history log eight
Miles high.
Sweaty palms, utterly distroyed nerves, and the symptoms escalating quickly.
Everyone feels too close, still can’t breathe, why all the stares.
Increase in footsteps, trying so hard to calm… Nothing is working.
Panic attacks won’t stop, anxiety can’t let go, legs begin to feel so weak.
Swealing in the throat, heat blushes the cheeks.
Water floods the tear ducs.
What most don’t understand, mental scars are just traumatic
as physical,
To those who live with them.
Invincible will never mean invalid.
You’re so right. Mental scars are worse.

I don’t feel they’re “worse”, just “equally” painful

People can see the physical but not the mental anguish.

Yes, that’s the painful truth. What people can’t see, they don’t believe:(

Exactly. And you really don’t want to tell everyone the details.

Wow!!! This is true…The mental pain may even cause more damage sometimes than the physical.
